It is my great honor to take the responsibility for managing of Daejeon Culture and Arts Center (DCAC), a foremost arts complex center.
DCAC, the leading arts complex in the middle area of Korea, has held quite a few concerts and performances by world class artists such as New York Philharmonic, Montecarlo Ballet, and so on. Also, DCAC has tried to establish a distinguished character as the local arts center, which has fruited to a ¡®Spring Festival¡¯ or ¡®Shakespeare¡¯s Zoom Series.¡¯
I will exert utmost efforts to keep and enlarge DCAC¡¯s qualified reputation. The most important role of an arts center is showing the best performances to audiences. All of our staffs will do best to provide a supreme service with artists who play in DCAC, and also prepare a heartwarming service for our audiences, so that they can fully enjoy arts in a comfortable atmosphere.
As a public arts center, DCAC will attract actively more aesthetical, educational, and popular concerts and performances. As the principal core of cultural sectors in Daejeon, DCAC will be fostering local artists and arts works. In order to introduce diverse and qualified arts works to Daejeon audience, DCAC will be committed to render for cooperation with other local arts centers.
DCAC was opened in October 2003, and will have its fifth anniversary year of grand opening in 2008. All of our staffs appreciate for your interest and support toward DCAC since its opening. DCAC will intensify the effort to be one of the finest arts centers in Korea. I hope that you will keep your enthusiastic and active interest for DCAC.
